Creating the movement of the wings and keeping the design true to my artistic style while at the same tame making it a fun project for you to make took many rounds of refinement. The result is one of my most rewarding quilt patterns to date.

This pattern is best suited to experienced quilters or those already familiar with my piecework method.

The design includes a larger number of individual pieces and more intricate construction than many of my previous patterns, allowing the movement and character of the bird to really shine.
