Creative Piecework: Online Quilting Class.

$150.00

Creative Piecework is my signature online quilting class. Working through the Flowering Gum Quilt Pattern, I teach my quiltmaking process from start to finish, through all-new video lessons. This class is completely self-paced, and all lessons will be available immediately.

Creative Piecework includes access to the class website, with digital patterns for printing, instructions for piecing, access to a class workbook and more than 90 minutes of video lessons, and other helpful PDFs.

When I created my Flowering Gum block-of-the-month in 2021, I had no idea how popular the pattern would be! It has been made by quilters all over the world. What I love about this pattern is that the block format makes it easy to work through a large project step-by-step (perfect for a block-of-the-month). I also love that the design is so eye-catching, while still being a very manageable introduction to my piecework process. In fact, while I still teach my smaller 50cm designs in my two-day workshops, I believe that this pattern is the best introductory pattern to my process.

This is why I’m so excited that this pattern is now re-launching as a full-blown comprehensive online class! While the Flowering Gum pattern has always included a number of tutorial videos, this new version includes a more thorough demonstration of every aspect of making this quilt. I have re-filmed the whole process with improved sound and imagery, so that you can have an even more comprehensive experience than an in-person workshop. You’ll be able to revisit sections as often as you need, and there’s also a troubleshooting class to help you through any tricky points. So, basically, I have taken my most popular pattern and turned it into my signature quiltmaking class: Creative Piecework!
