February 2008
Well, 'Eucalypts in Focus' is now over, and what a wonderful experience it was. It was a blessing that everything went so very well in the past year with preparing the artworks and planning the exhibition, and that the exhibition went so smoothly and well!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and see the exhibition. Also thank you to all who helped to make it such a success by encouraging me in this project and by giving practical help - spreading the word, setting up the exhibition, serving on opening night, opening the exhibition, cooking dinner for us during the exhibition, babysitting and more. |

Quiltwest, Perth Convention Centre
I am thankful for all the positive feedback this artwork received at the recent QuiltWest exhibition! As well as receiving a number of prizes, it was rewarding to hear from people that after viewing the quilt, they took another, closer look around at what was beautiful in ordinary, everyday life. |
